Continuous Emission Monitoring (CEMS)
The Challenge
Industries with stacks (cement, steel, power, pharma) must continuously monitor SO₂, NOₓ, PM, and other pollutants and transmit data to the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) server in a defined format. Existing third-party data acquisition systems were expensive, difficult to configure, and lacked remote diagnostics.
The Solution
YuDash NUREX acts as the data acquisition system (DAS) for CEMS installations. It connects directly to stack analyzers via 4–20 mA analog inputs and Modbus RS485, reads pollutant concentrations, applies calibration coefficients and data scaling, and transmits in the CPCB-compliant format to the regulatory server over 4G. The compact DIN-rail form factor fits existing CEMS panels with no structural modifications.
How It Works
Data flow from field to cloud
Stack Analyzers (SO₂, NOₓ, PM, CO)
4–20 mA or Modbus RS485 output
YuDash NUREX (DAS)
Calibration scaling, local data buffer
4G/LTE
Dual-SIM failover for regulatory uptime
CPCB / SPCB Server
Compliant format, automated transmission
Results
- CPCB-compliant data transmission with dual-SIM failover
- Remote diagnostics — no site visit needed for configuration changes
- Deployed across cement, pharma, and power generation verticals
