Tenant Energy Sub-metering & Billing

The Challenge

A real-estate company managing 5 commercial buildings (corporate offices and showrooms) in Delhi/NCR had 15 tenants sharing utility connections. Energy billing required facility staff to manually read sub-meters twice daily, enter readings into spreadsheets, send them to a central office, and wait for finance teams to reconcile and generate invoices. The process was tedious, error-prone, and caused billing disputes with tenants.

The Solution

YuDash connected energy sub-meters to LYNX gateways via Modbus RS485, streaming per-tenant consumption data to the YuFourIA platform in real time. Automated billing reports are generated at the end of each billing cycle, showing per-tenant consumption, unit rates, and invoice amounts — eliminating manual reads entirely. Tenants can view their own consumption dashboards through role-gated access.
